BTM is sponsoring the restoration of a most worthy ( one of 4000 ) MG-A coupe donated recently by our member Ian Cunningham.  BTM wants this car for it’s collection for it’s rarity and for the strong MG clubs and marque following in this area for over 65 years!

Go Restore Me is BTM’s take off of “Go Fund Me” but with some motor head variations. Thru this website (and other marketing avenues) we are soliciting for help in seeing this started project thru to it’s completion. Yes, in addition to dollars, we are open to and in need of donations of new or usable original parts, craftsmanship, research and of course time.  Ian has presented us with a good start with rust free body and certified rebuilt engine.

Ron Parks, a British Transportation Museum member has agreed  to take the project coordination from this point. We have some members of the MG Car Club SW Ohio Centre who are volunteering to pitch in to help.  If you are a club, individual or company we invite you to participate as a team member to help us restore this car to its original glory.  Contact Ron Parks at mgdriver@woh.rr.com

 Our helpful local MG club SW Ohio has cataloged all the existing parts, determined if those parts are usable or need replaced.  In addition they have made a list of missing parts. You can see the list by clicking here.
